History of Photography

The First Camera was important because...
It led to the development and eventual creation of more advanced cameras as time went on.
The First Permanent Images (Daguerreotype, Emulsion Plates, Dry Plates) were important because...
It was another advancement in the timeline of camera, permanent images suddenly made cameras more useful.
Camera For Everyone was important because......
Anyone could take pictures and pursue their passion no matter their financial status.
The Horrors of War were important because......
The pictures of the war showed the American people what it was really like. Further inspiring the population.
The Wonder of Instant Images was important because.....
Cameras became more convenient. Film could now be developed within the camera in minutes.
Advanced Image Control was important because......you could adjust the image before it was taken based upon your liking.
Introducing Smart Cameras was important because......The camera could make small decisions that didn't really matter to them.
The Digital Age was important because......
Digital cameras are advanced enough to be used by professionals, and the quality continues to improve.

Though not everybody would agree, I would argue that the Camera for Everyone is the most significant step in the evolution of the camera. I have several reasons for arguing this point of view. My first reason is that it was the first camera where you don't have to change the film as constant. A further reason is, when he created the flexible film, he was able to develop a self-contained box camera that held 100 film exposures. Furthermore, this camera was fairly inexpensive so many people could afford it. Therefore, although some people might argue that the Camera for Everyone is not the most significant step in the evolution of cameras,  I have shown that it is the most significant step in the evolution of the camera.
