Shadows and Light

Since these are birds they're most likely outdoors, I think the light source being used in this photo is the sun. The bodies of the birds are creating this shadow. Since the photo is outdoors potentially, the birds may be standing on pavement, a sidewalk or maybe even a road. 

This photo looks like it is taken on the floor of a bedroom or living room on top of carpet. There is light reflecting from a windows blinds, when the sun shines through the blinds it creates this pattern on the persons arm.

                                       

For this image I set my water bottle in front of a lamp on the table in the art room. I turned my phone to an upward angle to get the shadow. I also edited this photo so it would have more contrast.
